What is Not Covered

Not all crashes are considered a result of hardware malfunction. The following scenarios are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Crashes caused by the drone ascending or descending into an obstacle, including:Initiating a mission from the top of an obstacle.Colliding with an overhead object during an automated return-to-home ascent.Navigating upward into overhanging objects (e.g., tree branches or wires).Attempting to clear one obstacle while inadvertently impacting another, such as routing upward to bypass trees and hitting a parallel power line.
  • Collisions involving objects with a diameter smaller than 1 inch are not recognized by the obstacle avoidance system and are not covered.
  • Any impact while obstacle avoidance is disabled is excluded from warranty.
  • Multiple drone collisions, such as aircraft-to-aircraft impacts during fleet operations, are not covered.
  • Accidents occurring during manual flight mode, unless conclusively caused by a verified component failure, are not eligible for coverage.
  • Any crash outside the 12-month warranty period from the drone’s activation date is not covered.
  • If the customer fails to submit adequate documentation of the incident (including flight logs, images, and videos), the claim will be declined.
  • Collisions resulting from terrain-following misjudgments that lead to overhead impacts are excluded from warranty.

Accidents due to a physical component failure (e.g., motor, arm, propeller) may be covered, provided:The drone was properly maintained and regularly serviced.Pre-flight inspections were conducted.Critical components were kept clean and free of debris.Only approved OEM parts were used.Sufficient documentation proving the failure was submitted.

Potentially Covered Scenarios

Accidents resulting from a confirmed failure of a physical component—such as the motor, arm, or propeller—may be eligible for consideration, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

  • The drone was properly maintained and serviced on a regular basis.
  • Pre-flight inspections were consistently performed.
  • All critical components were kept clean and free of debris.
  • Only approved original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts were used.
  • Adequate documentation verifying the component failure has been submitted.

Component Warranty Periods

Aircraft electronics and control modules are covered for 12-months excluding spraying and spreading systems. Spraying and spreading system parts have 3-month warranties.

12 Months: Aircraft frame, ESC, RTK, motors, smart controller, charger, radar, etc.

3 Months: Flow meter, impeller pump, sprinkler, servo, solenoid vent valve, etc.

15 Days: Propellers, spread tank, cables, hose, structural module, etc.

Battery: 12 months or 1,000 cycles (whichever comes first).
