What's the difference between Mission Ready and the Thermal Drone?
Both include the same Matrice 4T and RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller. The Thermal Drone comes with 1 flight battery and a charging hub. Mission Ready adds 3 extra batteries, the LKTOP 200W fast charger, a WB37 charging hub and 2 WB37 controller batteries for all-day work.
What can I use the Matrice 4T for?
Common uses include infrastructure and solar inspection, livestock checks, wildlife and deer recovery, search and rescue, and firefighting support. If you plan to use it for game recovery, check your state's wildlife rules first.
Do I need a license to fly commercially?
Yes. Commercial flights in the U.S., including paid recovery services, require an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. Our team can point you to training resources.
What software does the M4T use for thermal?
DJI Pilot 2 on the controller handles live thermal, temperature readings and AI detection. For post-flight analysis, DJI Thermal Analysis Tool works with the R-JPEG photos.
Should I get the 4T or the 4E?
Choose the 4T if you need thermal for recovery, search and rescue, livestock checks or inspections. Choose the 4E for mapping, surveying and construction.
